Alstom, Sumitomo win EPC contract for 850 MW power plant in Bangkok

Alstom, in consortium with Japan's Sumitomo Corp., has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to supply equipment and build the 850-megawatt North Bangkok combined-cycle power plant block 2.
