The UK Government has given approval for the development of a major new gas storage and balancing facility in Cheshire.
GE has been awarded a contract by China’s Harbin Electric to provide a 9HA gas turbine for the 650MW Huadian Tianjin Junliangcheng VI gas combined-cycle power plant.

E.ON has announced that it is investing in Elcore GmbH, a pioneer in fuel cell technology. The company is based in Munich and produces energy-efficient heating systems for single-family homes and duplexes. The heart of the system is an internal developed fuel cell heating technology that generates heat and power simultaneously.
