Russia’s Gazprom has boosted sales to the EU by 17.2%, or 28.8 billion cubic meters (bcm) between January and October. Volumes sold to Turkey were doubled and exports to Germany increased by nearly a quarter as the Russian major seeks to outcompete LNG by offering comparatively cheap pipeline gas.
