Power producers in India have reportedly agreed to accept gas price pooling measures that will increase costs for some but may ensure that idle gas-fired plants can finally resume operations. The measures are expected to affect around 24,149 MW of capacity from producers including NTPC, Lanco Infratech, Essar Power, Reliance Power, GVK Group and GMR Energy.
