Tucson Electric Power (TEP) plans to generate over 70% of its electricity from wind and solar resources, supported by gas generators and energy storage. In its 2020 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) the Arizona-based utility also proposes to retire its remaining coal-fired units over the next 12 years.
