Construction has started for a hydrogen generator in Wunsiedel, northern Bavaria. The 8.75 MW plant, built by Siemens Smart Infrastructure, will produce up to 1,350 tons of green hydrogen per year from summer 2022 and allow local industries to use waste heat, or oxygen split off during electrolysis.
