MAN gensets to helps stabilize Taiwanese Island grid

Chung Hsin Electric & Machinery (CHEM), a Chinese EPC company, has ordered two MAN 51/60 gensets with selective catalytic reduction that will add 24.5 MW to the generating capacity to the Ta-Shan power plant in Taiwan. The plant, currently at 64 MW, is meant to operate with expanded capacity in the second half of 2018.
