Wärtsilä, Clough build 1st engine-run power plant in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea's first utility-scale gas engine-based power project will go ahead after Wärtsilä and Australian EPC partner Clough just won the turnkey contract to build the 58 MW POM Power Station near Port Moresby. The two developers said they expect to complete the project in late 2018.
