Kosmos Energy, co-developer of a West African FLNG project together with BP, confirmed today the signing of an intergovernmental accord between Senegal and Mauritius will speed up the development of the cross-border Tortue gas field and adjacent floating LNG export project. Kosmos now plans to take a final investment decision (FID) around the end of 2018, and aims for first gas in 2021.
