SK Hynix builds LNG-to-Power units next to semiconductor factory

South Korean conglomerate Hynix has announced plans to invest over 1.68 trillion won ($1.49 billion) to build LNG-fuelled power stations adjacent to its semiconductor plants in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, and Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. The two plants are scheduled to start up by 2022.
