Wärtsilä builds 132-MW power plant on fast-track basis in the Bahamas

Finish technology group Wärtsilä has been contracted by Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) to supply an engine-driven power plant to help improve the grid reliability on the island. The 132 MW dual-fuel plant will be delivered and built on a fast-track basis as it is due to go into commercial operations in summer 2019.
