Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have entered the first-ever cofinancing of an infrastructure project in Indonesia by granting loans of $70 million and $50 million, respectively, for a 275-MW combined-cycle gas turbine power project in Riau, central Sumatra. Another $82 million will come from the commercial lenders Sumitomo Mitsui Banking and MUFG Bank.
