APR Energy has been awarded a contract by the Mexican private power producer Saavi Energía to provide and install three mobile gas turbines for nearly 80 MW peaking power plant in Mexicali, Baja California. The flexible gas peaking power unit will help alleviate the risk of regional power shortages that increased following a reduction in power imports from California.
