Improvements to the design architecture of Dresser-Rand’s Guascor engines offers increased fuel flexibility and boosts lifetimes, according to the manufacturer. “Our engines mix high overall efficiencies with high flexibility. We can run the engines with gases covering a very large range lower heating value (LHV) - from 4.6 MJ/Nm3 up to 100 MJ/Nm3,” Chris Nagle, general manager, Power North America for Dresser-Rand told Gas to Power Journal.
