Distributed power provider APR Energy has won a contract to supply 100 MW of gas-fired peaking capacity in South Hedland, Western Australia. Four mobile turbine units will provide bridging power for the next 30 months until work is complete on a 150 MW combined cycle plant at the site in early 2017.
