A new project in Rwanda promises to capture methane that has been dissolved in a lake and use it generate power, according to project developer Symbion Power. “This is the largest concession that has been issued so far and first power may be expected from the plant 15 months from execution of the Power Purchase Agreement,” Paul Hinks, chief executive of Symbion Power told Gas to Power Journal.
